Op het hoogtepunt van zijn carrière voelt succesvol kunstenaar Julius Morlang zich verstrikt in zijn huwelijk. Genoodzaakt een ultieme beslissing te nemen wanneer bij zijn vrouw een terminale ziekte wordt ontdekt, grijpt hij de kans waarmee hij zijn leven voor altijd verandert.
Al snel realiseert Morlang zich echter dat hij niet de enige is die weet dat er meer verscholen gaat achter de dood van zijn vrouw dan men op het eerste gezicht zou denken…
