Who is Fred the Deer?
Fred is an animal that lives in the forest, just like all deer. He is still young and you can tell by his idiosyncratic, sometimes rebellious, but always inquisitive behavior. The nice thing about Fred is that, like young children, he views many situations with a questioning, philosophical mind. He does not judge, but he also does not understand much. He is an animal. And yet there are things he wants. For example, going to school, because there you can learn “all kinds of things”. When he notices that this is about that one apple and one apple together make two apples, he knows enough. Is that all? So is Fred.
