It’s the end of the sixties and Catrien is the only labourer’s daughter to start the exclusive nursing school run by nuns at the St. Radboud hospital in Nijmegen, the Netherlands. She seems a strange duck among the elite daughters of diplomats and lawyers, but in the end each of them has her own unique story, which are profoundly accelerated by the rapidly changing world around them.
