De familiefilm Lucy Goes Gangsta heeft de Kids Jury Award 2022 gewonnen tijdens het Zurich Film Festival dat plaatsvond van 22 september t/m 2 oktober in Duitsland.
De Duitse speelfilm doet het goed in het film festival circuit, zo is de film ook al te zien geweest bij onder andere Cinekid Festival, Hamburg Film Festival, Zlin Film Festival, Schlingel International Film Festival en LUCAS Film Festival.
Lucy Goes Gangsta is een coproductie van Indi Film met Phanta Film, BosBros en Senator Film. Voorjaar 2023 komt de film naar de Nederlandse bioscopen.
